140 students went on the end of the year 8th grade field trip, bowling @MaplewoodLanes, pizza, lots of snacks, and hanging out with friends new and old. This is one of the best traditions that @OPS_McMillan does for the departing 8th graders. Good luck in high school.

One of the funner things I get to do is letting kids do things that are not in the curriculum, but they have a vast interest in the med field. Students got to do an autopsy on a pig and suture it up. They also got to disect a shark. @OPS_MacPrncpl @OPS_McMillan

This week @UNOBiomechanics came in and worked with our students @OPS_McMillan to learn about the engineering design process. They are working together through the @UNOmaha service learning center. Can't wait till they come back and we work on the next step. @OmahaPubSchool

Congratulations to @OPS_McMillan students who won awards at this year's @MSEFOmaha Anna 1st in her division and an award from women in engineering. Kayleigh R was 2nd, Nesah 3rd. Annabelle won an award from naval sciences, Kayleigh M from mid west labs and Adam a stem award.

Mcmillan swimmers placed 7th in the medley relay and 8th in the freestly relay for medals this year. Nesah also placed 9th in the backstroke and 10th in the IM. Manny placed 10th in the butterfly. Not bad for 4 kids who never swam club before. @OPS_McMillan
