If we don’t SUPPORT our own, who will?
The Black Coaches Association proudly congratulates both NBA Finals head coaches, Mike Brown and Mitch Johnson.
History will be made as two Black head coaches meet on basketball’s biggest stage in the 2026 NBA Finals.
This opportunity has only happened a handful of times in NBA history, making this moment even more significant for the game and for the next generation of coaches who aspire to lead at the highest level.
No matter the outcome, one thing is certain:
A Black head coach will be crowned NBA Champion.
We celebrate the leadership, resilience, preparation, and excellence that both coaches have displayed throughout their journeys.
Good luck to Coach Brown and Coach Johnson.
They WIN. WE WIN. ✊🏾🏆

@Thechat101 Barry Sanders retired at an extremely high level without career changing injuries. Plus, he is one of the greatest RBs in the history of professional football.

@Hoopss Just curious to all AR critics, what are your pro career stats? Dennis Rodman was the same type of player and he's considered one of Top 50 NBA players of all time. Charles Barkley once said anybody can score, but rebound is one the toughest aspect of basketball.
@Alex_Maurice251@espnW Only in the pros you can follow through after hitting the ball. Middle school, high school, and every level of college contact to the person is a foul.
@wwc4022871@espnW It was a basic common foul. I don't think anyone disputing that. The behavior afterwards is where the problem comes. That's a taunting technical on level of basketball especially in the women's game.
@Alex_Maurice251@espnW It definitely was a foul. Knox got her with the body and on the arm with the swipe down. She did hit the ball but kept going down onto her arm.
@bshields0244 It's not worse than in football Ohio State beating Grambling State 70-0 or Tennessee beating ETSU 72-17. Does the coach suppose to tell players and subs to practice bad habits?
@HaterReport_ Funny! Lamar put his team in position to win each of this games. He didn't cause Flowers to fumble, Andrews dropped a poor but easily caught ball, and he got the Ravens into fg (NFL chippy) range. Does he suppose run, pass, catch, kick, and play defense?
What happened today at Texas A&M was unacceptable. No young man should face that level of aggression outside of the field of play. Especially, not from someone there to protect. This officer had the audacity to do this in front of millions. What does he do when no one’s watching? It didn’t escalate today, but that doesn’t mean it never has or will.

@Bobelfish Football is an aggressive sport and sometimes fights happen. However, players were swinging helmets which is extremely dangerous. Both teams should have to forfeit the rest of the season and those that swung helmets should be suspended from all MS JUCO activities for a yr.
@bshields0244 What are going to do about the Northeast-Coahoma fight? Fighting in football is one thing, but they were swinging helmets and that's extremely dangerous.
@xbigxblux @SonicsFan420 @orph187 @HoopMixOnly I think people think MJ was on a super team because they won 72 games and the champion. However, Scottie Pippen was the only other all-star on that team. Luc Longley was the starting center. Lol
@reginald_d98131 @SonicsFan420 @orph187 @HoopMixOnly Jordan never played with a good PG or C in his entire career. He played with so decent PG but the centers were very subpar. Rodman was great but not really a center.
@SonicsFan420 @orph187 @HoopMixOnly Sorry but your argument is invalid either. Jordan only played WITH 1 (Scottie Pippen) all-star his whole career and the 10 others at were all-stars mostly after Jordan retired. 2 all-stars not a super team. Youngest bcuz he started 3.5 years earlier than MJ.
