Kara Lawson (@karalawson20) said, "Conflict is a pivotal part of a successful team."
"You commit to one another, so, when there is conflict, you can move past it."
Constructive conflict builds stronger teams.
It leads to better decision making and relationships.
Rules are the baseline—what everyone has to do.
Standards? That’s what champions choose to do.
Great players don’t just follow rules—they set the standard.
Coaches, hold them to it.
Athletes, live it every day.
That’s how winning programs are built.
Non-negotiables for student athletes :
- Breakfast
- 3 to 4 meals per day
- 8 hours of sleep/night
- 100 oz of H20 daily
- Show up early and ready to go
- Avoid fried foods and no soda
- No phone within 45-min of bed
- Only use third party tested supplements
-Carbs + protein before and after training
- Second breakfast on game day
- Protein + carb + veggie + fruit at each meal
- Daily stretching and mobility drills
- Studies before scrolling social media or video games
Great teams don’t rise to the occasion.
They fall back on their habits.
The ones built in the quiet.
In the boring reps.
In the everyday grind.
That’s how elite instincts are formed.
Not through hype.
But through consistency.
Train it. Repeat it. Trust it.
The real competition isn’t out there-it’s within you. Every day, you move forward or fall back.
There’s no standing still.
Championships are great, but what really matters is who you become along the way.
That’s what defines success.
That’s what builds a champion.
Great coaches push you.
Correct you.
Challenge you.
Not to tear you down, but to raise you up.
Growth isn’t easy.
It’s reps, setbacks, and hard truths.
But that’s how transformation happens.
Be coachable.
You’re not being punished—you’re being prepared.
Why You Should Do Hard Things:
1. Hard things test your limits.
2. Hard things build resilience.
3.Hard things teach you discipline.
The path of least resistance leads nowhere.
The road that challenges you is the one that changes you.
