Raegan collected books to donate to Sophie's giving tree for her birthday. This organization donates books for the hospital in memory of their daughter for sick children to have while staying there.
Way to go, Raegan!

We collected 492 items and everything goes to Baldwinsville families. Some of the Positivity Project character strengths that our students and their families showed are kindness, and teamwork/citizenship and love.

During the month of November, the 5th grade Student Council at McNamara Elementary organized our annual Baldwinsville Volunteer Center Food Drive. Every year, we collect canned food, boxed food, hats, mittens, gloves, new unwrapped gifts and toys and other items chidren may like.
Mrs. Branigan’s class has been working on a kindness chain by spreading kindness to others this month. These are thank you notes to our nurse, Mrs. Duger, to show appreciation for all she does for the students at McNamara.

Last week our librarian, Mrs. Zaitzeff, invited kindergarten and first grade students to share their perspectives on favorite read alouds. Each child voted for one book and was given an "I Voted," sticker to wear home that day. #perspective#McNamaraMatters#LZaitMcN
Several students delivered these notes to their former kindergarten teacher. It sure brightened their day and was fun to see what they remember about their days in K!
