Remembering my Mum and Dad. Mum left school @ 14 and worked at a Factory making Uniforms. There, she met my Dad. He was called up & after training was sent out to Burma so 80 years ago today, he was fighting in the jungles & losing his mates daily.
Dad came home in 1946 #VEDay80
Here is an image I have created from my own photos in honour of my family who never made it home. Please feel free to share as you wish, helping to remember your family and honour those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. Wear your Poppy with pride. @CWGC@PoppyLegion
@Lilywhite_Rose@Holsten1882 I cannot help but feel this and the new home shirt both look like Pyjamas? Lets hope they don't start the season sleeping. COYS!
I've always instilled in my kids the importance of Love, Respect, Family & to be Thankful. My eldest son stopped at Etaples on their way to holiday in France to say hello to his Great Great Uncle & his kids, their GGG Uncle and namesake to Henry. @CWGC#lestweforget@PoppyLegion
