God is not the author of any man's sin, but even by that which men do from bad principles God serves his own purposes and glorifies his own name; and he is righteous in that wherein men are unrighteous.
~ Matthew Henry~
The kind of sufferings we Christians sometimes undergo serves to remind us always that our home/destiny is not here and now.
That our place of comfort and rest is not this world.
It's always a hand of grace extended to make us depend on the LORD till death unites us.
And so on.
Our values are our moral compass.
Man needs transformation from within not without.
A pot can only be made good by its potter, a bed by its carpenter and man by his Maker.
If today we hear the calling of the Lord and submit to it, He will indeed transform us.
VALUES
What we hold dear and with high esteem. If you think man can be made good by giving him laws, well, we have lots of them in Kenya yet people are still rotten.
Nowadays few people value mercy, justice and fear of the LORD and so, how can we not suffer?
A Christian who values the fear of the Lord will not live in sin or enjoy doing evil.
If we elect a Christian leader who doesn't value the fear of the Lord, tomorrow he'll be corrupt.
And if a judge who values justice, we'll have a have sanitised judiciary.
@ChelseaMachini2 Marriage is good but may be a curse to those who are not marriageable.
Marriage by pressure and for show can't stand. SM marriages also don't work. There must be something missing in marriages that don't work—love, commitment, submission whichever.
@misteryman526@Saganismm In the eye of a Christian, Christianity and God are not two distinct things. It's one. God has been in existence since eternity, and we know though very little but sufficient about Him.
Christ came later, of course, to make make man right with the eternal God.

@amerix Before we die, this is the sole duty of man in the world:
No, O people, the LORD has already told you what is good, and this is what he requires: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8 NLT)
For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, "The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who...
No one is beyond redemption.
If the LORD converted the insolent, barbaric, cold and vile Saul (St. Paul) then I am persuaded that no one, however evil, can escape His mercy WHEN He pleases and is determined to show him mercy.
'Worst' sinners make the 'perfect' the saints.
"The first affections of men towards Christ, and holiness, and heaven, are usually lively and warm.
These lively affections will abate and cool if great care be not taken, and diligence used, to preserve them in constant exercise."
