Excited to be back in-person here at Cisco Live this week. There's still time to sign up for my session tomorrow morning on Enterprise Wireless Design with Cisco IT (BRKCOC-2031). 500+ folks, with room for more! https://t.co/4NoerstfWR #cisco#design#wifi#wifi6e#ciscolive2022
Most of the time when a smartphone is connected to WiFi, it's because the *user* specifically set it up to connect to a preferred SSID.
This is especially true at home, workplaces, travel hubs, hotels & schools.
That is not "offload".

So this makes two, yes TWO consecutive days that I’ve put a complete set of real clothes on. I’ve never been comfortable with the term “hero” but it does seem to fit, snug, much like my pre-quarantine apparel. #wewillovereatthenovercome
Today, I've announced my plan to make 1,200 MHz across the 6 GHz band available for unlicensed use. One #WiFi innovator has called it “without a doubt the single biggest opportunity in Wi-Fi—and probably in wireless—in a generation.” Huge consumer upside! https://t.co/z69tPUYLj0
A huge thank you to the nearly 300 individuals that signed up for this session, and the great turnout even though the talk started at 5 pm. The amount of interest and participation was incredible. Stay tuned, as there will be more to come! #Cisco#CiscoLive#CLEUR#CLUS
If you’ll be in Barcelona for @CiscoLiveEurope in January and are interested in some wireless related discussions. Consider signing up and stopping by for BRKCOC-2257 where I’ll be speaking about enterprise wireless design and assurance. Hope to see you there! @CLEUR
Some thoughts around preparing your stakeholders and enterprise networks for 802.11ax / Wi-Fi 6, and what Cisco itself is doing for its own internal networks. It’s not all about faster speeds and feeds, so know the underlying benefits and device trends.
