@THEChrisKessell Pretty sure all he’s asked for are solutions. Love him or hate him, I’ve yet to see someone provide a solution. It’s easier to just trash his opinion than engage in a civil debate.
@ThaCapn27 Yet, you didn’t provide an answer to the question either, or even engage in a debate as to how to change for the better. Instead, you hurl insults like a petulant child.
@DPearsonPHL Alexi has consistently asked for solutions. Provide a solution, and then real conversations and debate can begin - hell maybe even change can occur.
@MSmith1883@AlexiLalas Philadelphia Union are a great example for people who live in Philly and the surrounding areas. But not everyone lives around cities with MLS teams. I live in Baltimore, no MLS team here. No USL team here. So your example is good, but ignores cities without pro teams.
@JStallz07 Can you provide a solution? I don’t disagree with you necessarily. But also keep in mind 20 million kids play soccer in the US vs 400K in our recent openent in Belgium. Maybe it’s more nuanced than JUST money.
@CoachSoderling What’s the breakdown of travel costs?
Flights and hotels are costly.
I’m in favor of making the game more accessible so we can be better in the US. But it’s not an outlandish question to ask ‘how?’. The US is a lot bigger than Germany, hell Montana is bigger than Germany.
@franklinleonard@LuckyKnotai You keep using this post as your argument, and that’s fine. But I’m curious where this $15K annual fee comes from. Do some research, the biggest cost is travel. Germany is the size of Montana. Comparing Germany to US soccer landscape is immature.
@talmonsmith@AlexiLalas I love Henry and Zlatan as well, yet they can’t answer the question either. Comparing (in soccer terms) the US to European countries is impossible. France and Sweden are smaller than the size of Texas. Lexi asks for a solution, and that’s a fair question.
@THEChrisKessell Pulisic’s stats may go down as being better than Landon and Clint. But I’ll take either of them when it matters most. Hershey chocolate melted tonight in prime time….
@andrewcarleton7 Yep, the game was too big for us. All I wanted us to do was ‘go at them and throw some punches’…yet we couldn’t connect simple passes. Looked like Varsity vs JV. I don’t blame Poch, our ‘stars’ looked like children.
@marcelobalboa17 Technically it’s a difficult question to answer. Other than McKennie, no one has started all three games. So it’s judging most off of 2 of 3, and sub appearances. But regardless I don’t care, GO USA 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@USSoccerColl Agreed, and hopefully he can continue to develop. CBs tend to get better with age, if he can improve his passing and positioning he’ll be a hell of a key-player next cycle. I’d also recommend he leave Celtic.
@TaylorTwellman@AnthonyDabbundo I think both can be true at the same time. Ultimately the results will speak for themselves. Have a letdown in the knockouts and it was the wrong decision - whatever that decision was. BUT LETS GO!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
