Why is it that the entire country knows a minute after a powerball jackpot has a winner we know when and where it was bought? Yet it takes days, weeks or a month to tally all votes in a city, county and a state in the US. Any appointed or elected official should want to get vote tallies as fast and accurate as possible anyone standing in the way should be removed.
