My uncle's wife refused to move with him to their uncompleted building when their landlord increased the rent from ₦850k to ₦1.6 million.

My uncle borrowed some money to floor the ground, install windows and doors, and make the place habitable.

“Babe, let's be managing it like that instead of paying another ₦1.6 million,” he told her.

His wife said never. She said she couldn't stay in a house where her friends wouldn't be able to come and greet her.

My uncle left.

She took part of her business money to renew the rent.

My uncle refused to send her anything except the children's school fees.

He said, “I can't be running two homes separately.”

Her rent expired last month, and there were no goods left in the shop.

She moved into my uncle's house and told him to reopen the business for her.

My uncle said he didn't crash the business in the first place.

He used ₦5 million to open the business for her.....
