Following the horrific attack in Southport that took away Bebe, Elsie and Alice and left 8 other kids and 2 adults injured, fascist scum seek to use this tragic event as an oppurtunity to parade through our city and spread their bile. 1/3
Hundreds more students have used their graduations to protest @officialuom's complicity in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
We honour all the students who have been martyred, injured, displaced, and their Universities destroyed.
Long live the student intifada!
From the siege of Al Shifa Hospital to the mass graves at Al Nasser Hospital, hospitals and healthcare workers are not targets. Healthcare, not warfare.
🇵🇸Free Palestine today, tomorrow and always🇵🇸
The graduating class of doctors from Manchester Medical School stand in solidarity with the students of Gaza and honour the memory of over 500 healthcare workers who have been massacred since the onset of the genocide.
They also stand with every Palestinian healthcare hero working tirelessly against the mounting burden of diminishing resources and disregard for humanitarian law.
In defiance of @OfficialUoM's complicity in this ongoing genocide, they centre palestine at their graduation.
Dozens of students at the University of Manchester used their graduation today to show solidarity with Gaza and protest the University’s complicity in the ongoing genocide 🇵🇸🇵🇸
or just drop us a DM to coordinate another pick-up time! Graduating students can also DM to join our Whatsapp chat for updates
Please share with friends and coursemates. In our thousands, in our millions, we are all Palestinians!
NO CLASS OF 2024 IN GAZA 🎓🇵🇸
As students graduate this year we cannot forget that 90,000 University students in Gaza have been stripped of this opportunity. Students have been killed, injured, displaced, and Universities destroyed in over 9 months of genocidal attacks by Israel
The graduating students of Manchester are showing our solidarity with these students and exposing our University’s complicity in the genocide.
You can pick up keffiyehs, scarfs, flags and banners from our stall on Oxford Road throughout the graduation period.
The closure of the Manchester Camp of Resistance is by no means the end. This is only the beginning. We will continue to build this movement and target every complicit company until this genocide is over and until Palestine is free!
