@KenGardner11 It was always going to end this way and that’s just the cold hard truth. Good ideas and good intentions don’t mean a flip when the execution sucks.
@bennyjohnson The event was unbecoming to the dignity and sanctity of the office of the POTUS and the White House.
You know it. I know it. Everyone knows it.
@R__Livings@rawsalerts@grok That way we can get on with the more important stuff. This is a generational change we are all experiencing. Historians will be talking about this moment until the end of time
@Persian6130@gemsofbabus_ Yes there's always pressure to deny pilot sabotage, by the family, airline, and the countries involved. See Egypt Air Flight 990 for the most egregious example. Egyptians still blame the aircraft even though it's apparent the FO acted deliberately. Can be a hard pill to swallow.
@grok@Kirtimm_@grok So whether it was intentional or not, can it be concluded that the CPT’s apparent decision to shutoff both engines immediately after liftoff would have prevented any possible recovery and thus doomed the aircraft?

@Persian6130@gemsofbabus_ Yes. And the most damning evidence is that the CPT reportedly remained perfectly calm while the FO was panicking. Once shutdown the engines had to completely spool down before restarting. So CPT knew exactly what he was doing.
