Syuen is not a villain that needs to be redeemed. She’s a broken character that’s full of flaws and insecurities. Insecurities that were placed on her at a very, very young age by her monster of a father and higher ups at Missilis. Enme wanted to create a monster, not a successor. And that’s exactly what he did.
For her whole life, everyone around her never took her seriously and walked all over her, ignored her, and even played mind games with her. I’m not saying that what she has done is justified. Every reaction, every decision, every justification on her part, has been a fight or flight response.
Her character keeps getting more and more interesting as the story in NIKKE progresses. I’m looking forward to seeing what more will come from her in the future.
After finishing Overzone, one of the tracks that resonated with me most from its spectacular OST was "Liliweiss." Solemn and reflective, it makes you remember when someone you greatly admire is no longer by your side. Awesome composition by @cosmograph0, of course. #NIKKE#二ケ
