"Speak the truth but not to punish". Urban planner, musician, single dad, former SD61 Trustee candidate (in no particular order). RT/❤️ not endorsements, etc.
It’s been a great experience running for #sd61 Trustee! Lots of nice interactions with folks, learned lots, plenty of very weird emails, and just fun to take part. I hope I get elected, but I’m sure whoever gets in will do a great job! Thanks 🙏❤️ to everyone who’s supported me!
@baronjutter Just dropping in to obliquely defend my fellow Planners by saying that this was politicians with *maybe* a little input from Parks and/or Engineering staff. Not a Planning decision.
@LeoSpalteholz Most development applications *that make it to Council* are approved. But don’t discount the number of applicants that drop out during process before Council makes a final vote on something, or those who are dissuaded by the process before even making the application.
I am not an Ontarian, or a teacher, or an education assistant, but I have a perspective on the Ford government’s “Keeping Students in Schools Act”. I was Minister of Education in Alberta for 7 years, including the time the Charter was developed and enacted. #onted#onpoli
@tegwynhughes @khadoni That makes more sense to me than “I stopped drinking it because he likes it” 😂. Now I just need to figure out what mushroom coffee is…
Day four of accidentally entering my old password over and over after being forced to come up with a new one by Windows. Huge hit to productivity, probably cost my organization like $1.5 of staff time in password re-enters so far.
