girls will survive abuse, heartbreak, grief, and unspeakable tragedies and still move through the world with kindness and compassion, but one minor inconvenience in a man’s childhood and he spends the rest of his life terrorizing and poisoning everyone around him
I just had the privilege of meeting Mr. Rowe. I was contacted by his wife who is confined to the bed who called and said they really needed help . I pulled up to the yard not knowing what to expect . At first I thought I was at the wrong house . Didn’t think someone lived here . I walked up to the door & knocked to see if anyone was home . I could hear a sweet little voice “ hello”. We talked thru the door and told them I was the guy they called . I could hear his wife say “ Thank you Jesus “. Mr. Rowe said he would be right out and came to the front to talk to me . He told me the grass hasn’t been cut since July 2022 and that him and his wife are having a hard time . He also said over 10 ppl came by in the past to look at the lawn but passed on it . And I had doubts myself if I could even do it , but I got started and today, my mower & weed eater cut this down like butter. It took a while but it was worth seeing him smile . The entire time he sat on his steps just watching . You could tell how much it meant to him .
So glad I could help them and bring a little smile to them . I told them I’ll be back every 2 weeks to maintain it and work on it more . Putting the care, back in lawn care .
Everybody wanna be in a relationship for months & years but y'all ain't ready for them nights when y'all arguing and communication going wrong, it's so much shit behind them months & years of a relationship but you have to be mentally ready for it. relationships ain't fairytales
your soulmate is someone who’s committed to working things out with you & doesn’t see breaking up as an option. they’re willing to have difficult conversations & are always devoted to finding solutions that make the both of you feel secure, reassured, & happy in your relationship
There is nothing glamorous about doing life alone, hyper independence is a trauma response, you are not a burden, you derseve to be loved by people and be taken care of, held and loved in abundance. You deserve to be told "I love you , we care". Community is what we all need.
The silent treatment is a normalized form of emotional abuse. Part of maturing is learning how to communicate, rather than using silence as punishment.
You deserve a calm love with someone who sees you, hears you, understands you, appreciates you, supports you, loves you and grows with you. Someone who makes your inner child feel safe, gives you unrequested reassurance, and treats you like magic even after they've experienced it
