This was @RanveerOfficial’s reaction to me when I asked him about his work for #Dhurandhar, he was nervous and it was showcasing his sheer hardwork for the movie, while @CastingChhabra spoke to me about the casting - which I feel was fantabulous.

I was wary of the movie portraying Indian Muslims wrongly, but #Dhurandhar simply focused on terrorists in Pakistan and how an Indian spy fought them, how there are loopholes in our own political system & how even normal Pakistanis suffer coz of terrorism (many Pakistani actors btw have condemned attacks in India in the recent times) and many Indian Muslims only say: don’t target them while fighting with terrorists, which is simple. Nothing wrong! Also don’t paint them as one when they’re not! My Mom and I watched it together & she liked it, and I go by her understanding of things - nowhere did she feel that anything was wrong with the movie, with the portrayal of Muslims, either in #Dhurandhar or in #Haq . It’s important to keep “arts & cinema” from this entire political narrative, politicians can be a fan of entertainment but intervention doesn’t help!

P.S . - Not paid by Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Mukesh Chhabra, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Aditya Dhar, Yami Gautam, Emraan Hashmi, Suparn Verma, Junglee Pictures, Vineet Jain (only for my work related salary: Yes, otherwise nothing else len-denn), Sanjay Dutt to praise these two movies, simply comes from the love of cinema - which had gone down & is slowly picking up!!!
