Sometimes i really wish that lawmakers pass a law that mandates 8hr shifts for residents(or even just 12 hr shifts.
I mean, we do that for nurses for patient care. A resident is human, how can they be expected to be normally functioning after being awake for 30++ hours.

Thats not the point marami na rin nangyari, kami pa lang ata yung batch nag medisina na di talaga nag physical experiance from grad to oath taking so that feeling of accomplishment is severely underwhelming.
