$BTC has broken a 6 month downtrend on the weekly pending this week's candle close for confirmation. Key areas to watch here are the 21-week EMA at $78.7K, a high volume weekly candle wick at $80.6K, and a high volume profile node at $84K.

Price is currently trading in a low volume gap heading into the weekend so it's possible to see an accelerated push through the low volume gap. I am currently long BTC from $62K and have been slowly scaling out of the long while scaling into a hedge short position from $74K.

My overall expectation is for BTC to continue to trend lower (with short lived rallies here and there) over the next several months to a bear market low in Q4 2026.
