⚡️ NEW UPDATE: Israeli Guards Beat Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya Again, Keep Him in Solitary Confinement and Deny Him Adequate Medical Care
“Do everything possible to get me out of this place,” Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya told lawyers during a July 14 visit at Israel’s underground Rakefet detention facility, according to Physicians for Human Rights Israel.
Abu Safiya said prison guards beat him again following his previous legal visit on July 2, leaving his hand bruised. He has remained alone in solitary confinement since that visit and is being denied adequate medical care despite his injured hand and a visible problem with his right eye.
He underwent an X-ray but was never told the results. His pain medication was later discontinued, while Israeli authorities have refused to provide PHRI with his medical records or allow an independent physician to examine him.
The legal visit itself offered no privacy. Abu Safiya was concealed from his lawyers behind an opaque partition and forced to communicate by telephone while masked prison guards remained close enough to hear the conversation.
The director of Kamal Adwan Hospital has been imprisoned without charge or trial since December 2024 after refusing to abandon his patients. PHRI demanded his immediate release, an end to his solitary confinement, his transfer out of the underground facility, and independent medical and legal examinations.
Utah: A white man, identified as Peter Michael Larsen, approached an Indian Muslim employee, Syed Sohail Uddin, at a kiosk and asked for a glass of water. As Shuaib turned to get it, Larsen allegedly stabbed him 15 times. Before attacking, the Larsen asked Mr. Shuaib, where he was from, his name and if he was Muslim. According to police, the suspect said he "intends to kill Muslims."
Despite the apparent anti-Muslim motive, most Indian media outlets have ignored to report this incident.

🇳🇱 UPDATE: Malak Mahmoud, the heavily pregnant woman filmed being thrown to the ground and dragged by Dutch police at an asylum seekers’ center in Zeist in May, has filed a criminal complaint against the officers involved, her legal team said.
The complaint alleges attempted grievous bodily harm, assault, and a breach of use-of-force rules, according to the European Legal Support Center, which is backing her case with lawyer Willem Jebbink. It follows a police integrity committee’s finding that the violence had been “necessary,” a conclusion reached by the force investigating itself, the ELSC noted, without publishing the investigation’s contents. Mahmoud, who fled war in Syria and had gone to the Netherlands seeking safety with her husband, a Palestinian from Gaza, went into early labor after the May 19 incident and gave birth days later.
“This fight is about accountability for institutional racism and violence inflicted on asylum seekers in general, and Palestinians in particular,” ELSC said.

💢 NEW: Gaza’s Interior Ministry says a fresh Israeli strike on a police checkpoint west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza has killed Col. Muhammad Marwan Salem, director of the Jabalia refugee camp police station, along with a number of officers and personnel.
Israel has systematically murdered scores of Palestinian civil police officers since agreeing to a ceasefire last October. Both the WFP and UNICEF had credited the Gaza police with finally bringing security to humanitarian distribution. Israel also killed about 15-30% of the entire Palestinian police force, some 2,800 officers and civil security personnel, during the height of its genocidal campaign from October 2023 to October 2025.
