I uploaded my resume to Claude and asked it to review it. It told me that if I apply for 100 jobs, I may get 3 to 6 interviews. Starting today, I will begin applying for remote backend jobs and see how many interviews I get out of 100 applications.
Sometimes GitHub breaks for no reason. After becoming a backend engineer, I’ve realized that almost all software sucks.
Most of the time, code quality doesn’t matter if everything works. I still think we should care about code quality, even if it doesn’t matter all the time.
I was watching a Coffeezilla video about Mike Black’s “Million Dollar Comeback,” a millionaire trying to make $1M from scratch in 12 months.
It didn’t work out. Kinda made me realize how much luck (or god) plays a role in success.

As a backend engineer, deploying on Vercel or Railway never felt enough.
Finally got my ShobApp24 server running on a GCP VM, having full control hits different.
Next up: CI/CD and deeper configs.

Spending money to buy back your time is valuable. For example, paying for YouTube Premium to save time can be a smart choice. Time is the one resource you can never recover. Experiencing high-quality or premium products and services can also be worthwhile.

Having a plan makes everything easier. Once I started setting daily tasks, my productivity jumped.
A common mistake is focusing on how many tasks you have instead of how meaningful they are. I’ve learned to follow my TODOs, but not blindly. And focus on what actually matters.
Does AI replace software engineers?
To answer this, find someone who built software entirely with vibe coding, makes money from it, and the software is truly good, reliable, and maintainable. If you find that, then software engineers should worry.

Planning the feature of my new App ShobApp24.
Features:
1. Build a system like n8n for GitHub.
2. Analyze a GitHub profile and rate it out of 10.
3. Analyze the GitHub repos and rate them out of 10.
4. Collect info about users of a repo's viewer.

In 2025, my contribution count was 941. But contributions don’t matter if I’m not writing high-quality code, and if I’m not solving real problems with code.
