God is saying to you today: I am going to be there, not only to take you out of that difficult situation you are in, but to let the people around you know that I am on your side. I am about to do something in your life so extraordinarily unusual and out of the ordinary that there will be no doubt that my favor is on your life.
When introverts are going through something, they tend to disappear. Not because they don’t care, but because silence is how they heal. They don’t need fixing or constant advice, they just need space. They’ve pulled themselves out of dark places before, and they’ll do it again. Give them time!
everybody says
"communication is key," but no one talks about how scary real communication is. it's not cute texts and long calls, it's saying "here's where you hurt me, here's what i need, here's what i'm afraid to say." it's swallowing pride, risking rejection, and choosing honesty over comfort. that's why most people avoid it, because it's easier to stay silent than to be vulnerable, easier to pretend you're okay than to admit you're hurting, and easier to walk away than to have the hard conversation.
A trigger i often see in trauma survivors is the way emotional inconsistency shakes their entire sense of safety. They're fine one moment, then spiraling the next. All it takes is a change in tone. A delayed reply. A shift in energy. It's not because they're dramatic. It's because inconsistency once meant danger. It meant betrayal. Or abandonment. Or punishment without warning.
Some of life's hardest betrayals are not meant to destroy me, but to introduce me to myself. As painful as they are, they force me to build a home within my own heart instead of searching for one in everyone else. Looking back I notice that the lessons kept returning in different faces until I finally learned to stop abandoning myself just to keep other people comfortable. Perhaps life repeats the examination, not out of cruelty, but because some truths can only be learned once we choose ourselves over the fear of losing others.
You ever just cried cause you’re tired? Not sleepy tired but tired of being tired. That "I'm done trying but Idk what to do” tired, that “I just need a long hug” tired, that “I don’t wanna cry but Idk what to say either” tired, that “God please just tell me what to do next” tired..
If he lacks emotional intelligence, move on. You shouldn’t have to teach a man how to apologize, take accountability, or treat you with respect. These are basic qualities a man should already have before entering a relationship.
God, please put better people in my life. I’m thankful for every lesson, but I’m ready for connections that come with honesty, loyalty, and genuine intentions. Remove anybody who isn’t meant to be on this journey with me, and bring the people You know belong. I’d rather have a few real ones than be surrounded by the wrong people. I trust You know exactly who I need.
I’m in my 30s, and I no longer have the emotional capacity to beg anyone to stay in my life. Whether it’s family, a relationship, or a friendship, I won’t force anyone to choose me. If you want to leave, I’ll let you. My peace is worth more than chasing people who have already decided to walk away.
I'm not toxic. I'm reactive. There's a person somewhere calling me difficult, and they're leaving out the part where they pushed every boundary I set, ignored every signal I gave, and then acted shocked when I finally stopped being gentle about it.
Trauma doesn't mnake people stronger. It damages their nervous system. It hijacks their digestive track. It keeps the person in a constant loop of hypervigilance. To tell Someone they are stronger because of trauma is to deny what it has cost them to survive.
Your life can change without a single thing around you changing.
The moment you stop obsessing over what’s wrong & start appreciating what’s right, everything feels different.
Gratitude doesn’t change your circumstances. It changes the way you experience them.
No one teaches you how to admit you might be addicted to the hope of someone. Nor how to stop being loyal to someone who isn’t emotionally equipped to receive what you’re offering. Some part of you knows that. Let me explain…
God is saying to you today: I woke you up today because I have a plan and purpose for you and your life. Things may be difficult for you right now, but hang on. I’m going to transform your fear into faith, your illness into health, and your sadness into joy. Know that what you are going through will not last. Trust me, I will bring you through.
Not everyone will understand your silence, your distance, or the way you're healing. You don't have to explain yourself to people who were never meant to understand your journey. Protect your peace, keep growing quietly and let time reveal who truly belongs in your life.
I HATEEEE when a man automatically think it’s another nga.. NO it’s another… … BILL. Another work schedule change. Another Dr appt. Another responsibility. Another stressful ass thing added onto my plate💀 y’all really be thinking women just sit around all day plotting on men whole time some of us barely got enough energy to even THINK about dating multiple ngas😭 REAL women with REAL responsibilities be mentally fighting for they LIFE every damn day.
The right man won't make you beg for the bare minimum. His generosity isn't measured by his wallet it's in the way he shows up, protects your peace, remembers the little things, makes time for you, and loves you without keeping score.
Nobody ever apologized for how they treated me. They skipped right past what they did and focused on how I reacted to it. It’s easier for some people to point at your response than take accountability for what caused it. That taught me a lot. I stopped expecting accountability from people who couldn’t even admit when they were wrong.
