@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian I probably use both terms interchangeably haha but again, I don’t think either term colors my view on the severity of their actions.
@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian I don’t think I view what describing differently based on whether it’s called undocumented or illegal. Just being honest, you may though and that’s fine.
@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian Again, you won’t see me supporting crimes committed by anyone. I just think putting an effort into deporting people who meaningfully contribute to the economy is a waste of money.
@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian You won’t ever hear me say we should have open borders but it doesn’t make sense to deport undocumented immigrants who hold down jobs. That’s inefficient as well ($15k range to deport per migrant).
@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian And I mean I’ve jaywalked before, what makes you think I won’t do it again? Lol (I’m intentionally strawmanning you for comedic effort). You’re right but that’s true of citizens too who are often more likely to commit felonies than undocumented folks.
@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian I agree but I think there’s a big difference between securing the border (ie preventing further inflows) which is a good thing and finding, detaining, and deporting the millions of undocumented immigrants who are meaningfully contributing to the economy.
@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian I see. I support easier pathways to citizenship, birthright citizenship, and humane treatment of undocumented migrants who are actively contributing to the economy. I support strong borders and support deportation of undocumented migrants who commit any crimes.
@UserXperince@SpencerHakimian Hello again! Are there any situations where you’d consider net positive migration to be a good thing? Or do you view immigration as a rule of thumb to be a bad thing?
Also do you agree with Spencer’s evaluation on those particular subjects?
@michaeljknowles That’s because we agree on the definition of a circle and square you fuckstick. Terrible fucking analogy from the star of House of Shades
