@DanielRoachLFC This sums up his shortcomings for me. He could have said something like “disappointing.” A word that would have assumed some acknowledgment and accountability. Instead he opts for a word that blames the outcome on something he couldn’t control. That is weak.

There's not much else to say about this Liverpool team other than that they will surely miss out on Champions League qualification from here and fully deserve it. Injuries have played a part, but these players regularly look less fit and less well-organised than the opposition.

Liverpool are just in a constant state of being really bad, and some games they get away with it and some they don’t. Simple as. That’s the life Edwards and co. have chosen by not changing things post-PSV.
