@SnazzyLabs My friend is a mural artist who makes his sketches on an ipad pro. He absolutely loves the screen and pencil, but man does he hate the file management in ipad. Heck, he had to purchase a separate MacBook Air just to properly manage his assets.
@Ethan_McKibbin_@bencsin@UniverseIce Ymmv. This is what people inventer warranty for. My fold3 purchased 1.5y ago works very well, and the only fragile thing in it is the screen protector, not the screen itself. I replaced protector under warranty and keep enjoying the device.
@jmwilt21 Switching apps on my Fold make me feel pain sometimes: it either lags or even switches to an app last used 3 days ago. Rarely, but still quite annoying.
@SnazzyQ@LaurentLaSalle I'd argue on that. I use Air m1 2020 as dev machine. Throttling may indeed be insignificant, but battery suffers a lot when hot. Also, case warms up a lot despite not having a direct connection with SoC. Any m1/m2 with cooler will show noticeable difference for any Pro user.
