The EU Commission adopted the EU-US Data Privacy Framework today. Negotiations conclude that the US ensures an adequate level of protection for personal data transferred across the Atlantic. At today's presser, Didier Reynders commends a "stable" and "trusted" arrangement. #mubxl

Here's another ECHR ruling, this time about a person's "right to be forgotten" vs press freedom. The right establishes that platforms could be obliged to remove online content from their services, which now includes media.

The European Court of Human Rights ruled for the first time on the compatibility of government use of facial recognition tech and human rights.

The Council of Europe's court doesn't set precedent in the EU, but the ruling incites debate on the legal use of this tech. #mubxl

Another ruling in the EU against the use of Google Analytics. The Swedish DPA follows the lead of many Member States from the last two years as debates on the legality EU-US data transfers continue.
