It was so much fun to build a backend app for SuperFunDev Solana selection procedure, building it, setting up an EC2 machine and deploying it under 1.5 hour while learning the axum framework on the fly.
Too much fun @kirat_tw SIGSEGV, Mercedes guy haha 😛
Stripe's CEO never studied finance.
Instead, he reverse-engineered PayPal’s docs—and built a $95 BILLION company at 22.
How? A learning method so powerful, it's now taught in colleges.
Here's his genius framework for learning anything fast: 🧵
it's hard to not be at least somewhat disillusioned by recent events.
so many developers I meet are scraping by, literally barely able to make ends meet, full of excitement and wonder and motivation about working in this space, just waiting for their first big break or opportunity to get their foot in the door or have a taste of success.
then you have people and teams literally scamming not millions but hundreds of millions of dollars providing zero value to this industry or world.
Due to a loss of a loved one, I fell a bit behind on the Builder's program. The timelines are strict for each milestone's submissions though I'd have completed my capstone regardless.
Thanks to @japarjam to still have me as a part of it. Attending office hours. Keyboard on🔥
This is where mentors and the community shine, thanks to @kirat_tw for making me aware of this amazing program.
While it's amazing to have a specific person as a mentor, they can't cater to everyone.

How to deal with imposter syndrome:
Society: "You need to believe in yourself!"
This doesn't fix the problem...
It just slaps a band-aid on the problem.
It deals with the symptom rather than the cause.
I've found reminding self of these 4 things more useful:
1. Watch the GIF and then think about your imposter syndrome.
You are on a spinning rock that is orbiting 67,000 miles per hour around a gigantic ball of hot plasma.
Imposter syndrome fades whilst watching it because you realize how irrelevant you are in the grand scheme of the universe.
2. The average man produces ∼30 trillion sperm cells in his life. The average woman will ovulate 400-500 mature eggs.
Your exact family tree is thousands of lottery wins stacked together to create the ultimate lottery win.
The series of historical events to produce your unique genetics is impossible to fathom.
3. 100 years from now, it's highly likely nobody will remember your name.
And if they do, it will mainly be people you have never met or cared about.
4. 1 million years from now, it's highly likely no thing will remember humanity.
----
You don't fix imposter syndrome by reading a self-help book.
You fix it by realizing it was a silly thing to be worried about in the first place.
Enjoy life's video game. It has the most realistic graphics of any game to date.
Week-1, class-2. Things have started to heat up now.
