दिल्ली पुलिस और प्रदर्शनकारियों के बीच लगातार बात हो रही है लेकिन अभी तक कोई रास्ता नहीं निकला है . अच्छी बात ये है कि छात्रों की तरफ से भी बहुत से लोग ह्यूमन चेन बनकर किसी टकराव को टालने में जुटे हैं .
ये प्रोटेस्ट जंतर मंतर की साइट से अलग है.

मोहित का कहना है कि जब उन्हें पता चला कि छात्र जंतर-मंतर से संसद तक प्रदर्शन करेंगे, तो उन्होंने पहले ही मेडिकल लीव ले ली। छुट्टी खत्म होने के बाद उन्हें कई बार ड्यूटी जॉइन करने के लिए बुलाया गया, लेकिन उन्होंने मना कर दिया। जब उन पर लगातार दबाव बढ़ा, तो उन्होंने दिल्ली पुलिस के सब-इंस्पेक्टर पद से इस्तीफा देना उचित समझा और छात्रों के बीच जंतर-मंतर पहुंच गए।

उनका कहना था— "मैं अपने भाई-बहन जैसे छात्रों पर लाठी नहीं उठा सकता। मेरे शिक्षकों ने मुझे इस काबिल बनाया है कि मैं मेहनत करके अपना पेट पाल लूंगा।"

पिछले कुछ दिनों से सोशल मीडिया पर जाट पुलिसकर्मियों को उनकी जाति के नाम पर लगातार निशाना बनाया जा रहा था, मानो हर जाट पुलिसकर्मी एक जैसा हो। आज मोहित के फैसले ने यह साबित कर दिया कि किसी व्यक्ति का चरित्र उसकी जाति से नहीं, बल्कि उसके अपने फैसलों और सिद्धांतों से तय होता है।

किसी भी समाज या जाति को एक घटना के आधार पर कटघरे में खड़ा करना गलत है।सवाल सत्ता से करो, आदेश देने वालों से करो, नीतियों से करो। पूरे समाज को बदनाम करके अपनी राजनीति चमकाने की कोशिश मत करो।

Instead of addressing their legitimate concerns with honesty and accountability, the Government has chosen a path of intimidation and force. A democracy does not respond to its young citizens by suppressing their voices. It listens, it answers, and it acts.

Every attempt to silence students only strengthens their resolve. India’s future belongs to these young men and women, not to those who fear their questions.

Stand with our students. Stand for justice. Stand for the Constitution.
