I cannot wait to visit Tehran.
Persia is of our world’s greatest cultures. Iran has been almost half a century under this oppressive theocracy.
Wishing you all every success. Good luck out there.
I do not understand the lack of our coverage here. But we still hear you.
LFG.
🚨 HOLY CRAP. JD VANCE IS LIVID!
"Everybody repeating the lie this is some innocent woman out for a drive in MN - YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU."
"What that headline leaves out is the fact that that very ICE officer nearly had his life ENDED, DRAGGED by a car six months ago, 33 stitches in his leg, so you THINK maybe he's a little bit SENSTIVE about somebody ramming him with an automobile?!"
"What that headline leaves out is that that woman was there to interfere with a legitimate law enforcement operation in the United States of America."
"What that headline leaves out is that that woman is part of a broader left-wing network to attack, to dox, to assault, and to make it impossible for our ICE officers to do their job."
"If the media wants to tell the truth, they ought to tell the truth that a group of left-wing radicals have been working tirelessly, sometimes using domestic terror techniques, to try to make it impossible for the president of the United States to do what the American people elected him to do, which is enforce our immigration laws."
"You people in the media have been LYING ABOUT THIS ATTACK. She was trying to RAM THIS GUY with her car! He shot back. He's already been seriously wounded before!"
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
We don’t know what the New York Times is. But it isn’t a newspaper…
How long does it take to find out if there is anything happening in Iran during what may turn out to be a revolution?
Let’s find out, shall we? Here is how long it takes to get to a story from “Today’s Paper”:
Well, it’s “Spring”. I don’t know what is going on with our media. But it is Spring again in Iran. There are “complaints” in the street. People are voicing their “incomplete satisfaction” with “demonstrations” of “discontent”.
I kept talking in 2011 about the revolution in Cairo. And no one at Manhattan cocktail parties had heard that. “You mean the demonstrations? You are being alarmist don’t you think Eric?”
Was I insane? No. I was just not reading the Times or listening to NPR and instead only following accounts on Twitter that posted about 1/2 their tweets in Arabic.
And when Mubarak fell, it still wasn’t a revolution in my NYC friends’ minds. It was the damndest thing. They didn’t realize that they had witnessed an actual uprising and revolution with their own eyes!! To them, there was a resignation during Arab Spring and demonstrations. That’s it.
That taught me the power that News organizations had on respectable people. It was mind control. You wanted to be mind controlled so you didn’t fall from grace within the moderately successful educated elite.
If I didn’t know better I would say it sure looks like an uprising with a more than likely revolution to follow….But then again I’m once again not a professor or journalist. Just a once respectable guy who, like you, can’t get a straight quality story based on facts from reliable news sources. So, better ask someone else. Preferably with a chaired professorship or a Pulitzer Prize.

@WallStreetMav Our incompetent government (and its successors) is conducting an experiment: how to ruin a country as quickly as possible be following stupid EU regulations and adding a ton of more stupid country-specific dumb ideas so the world can learn from Germany’s mistakes. Don’t copy!
@RolandTichy Let’s hope!
This clusterfuck of regulation and more regulation can’t end soon enough. We need a complete restart. EU bureaucracy is beyond repair.
No, this is not competition for FSD anymore than LEGO releasing a Space Shuttle kit is competition for the Falcon 9.
Nvidia has released multiple generations of ADAS development kits and tools for developing ADAS systems. These are not ADAS systems, they are tools to help get started developing an ADAS system. Nvidia has also produced multiple generations of hardware kits that can help a developer get started building the compute framework for an ADAS system using Nvidia silicon. An ADAS demo can be put together pretty quickly using these kits, but a production system cannot - the kit gets you 0.01% of the way to concept for a production system and it doesn't include most of the difficult to understand parts - it just shows what is possible. This latest kit apparently includes the a VLA as the core software architectural component. Using a VLA provides a lot of development advantages but VLAs are compute intensive and not, in their simple form, suitable for a production system.
It would be a good thing for the world if companies picked up these tools and started making a serious attempt to develop ADAS systems and I hope they do. If they were wildly successful they might start fielding them in 5 years and that could help Tesla to displace the billion plus human driven vehicles ten years from now. We need lots and lots and lots of autonomous capable vehicles and Tesla can't build all of them in any reasonable period of time.
There is no scenario in which a company building on top of this new development kit will even slightly dent Tesla's Robotaxi market opportunity. I wish it were that easy - building an FSD like system is still a technically challenging, resource intensive, and commercially fraught task. It's kind of a miracle that any company did it once. It's the thing I'm most grateful to Tesla for.
Germany is in its worst crisis since WWII. It urgently needs to reduce regulations and lower taxes to attract investment & boost innovation.
The left in government does the exact opposite: they push "tax the rich" instead. Entrepreneurs & businesses will simply leave. Good luck
