@sheryl_gann@ngaio420@okgazette@MagazineExtract It's storming here, so that might have triggered it, but it's back up now. Here's the link to the tag: https://t.co/izOtKefGFu
And, for what it's worth, I just pulled up @ngaio420's page too.
@sheryl_gann@ngaio420@okgazette@MagazineExtract Indeed. Everything we do goes online. You can either read them at https://t.co/UvHGNdl3Zh or the print version is available digitally on Issuu.
@sheryl_gann@ngaio420@okgazette@MagazineExtract There's hemp still growing wild out west that was abandoned when it was outlawed after WWII too. The forestry department tells me that people are seeking out those genetics that have survived whatever weather has come its way in the past 75 years now that the industry is back up.
@sheryl_gann@ngaio420@okgazette@MagazineExtract I was extremely skeptical about the ability to successfully grow outdoors here, but a friend/source who has grown outside in Arkansas and Colorado has convinced me that it can be done.
@sheryl_gann@ngaio420@okgazette@MagazineExtract Definitely. There's a learning curve, especially outdoors in Oklahoma, but I have a feeling that once people get the hang of it -- and barring some extreme weather -- there will be some monster sativas grown here.
@TerryHesticles8@ngaio420 @TeamBarBeQueMan @okgazette@MagazineExtract I can be, but mostly just have resting dick face, which is why there are very few photos of me. In person, I'm almost always smiling. I went from being a crime reporter for more than a decade to a full-time cannabis writer, so you couldn't chisel the grin off my face these days.
@ngaio420 @TeamBarBeQueMan @okgazette@MagazineExtract I've got rather thick skin and am not new to the internet, so I'm not fazed, but I appreciate you having my back, sir.
@JessBot5000@ngaio420@omgwtfpaul@okgazette@MagazineExtract ... the legislature did just pass a law with residency requirements that goes into effect Aug. 31 (if there's no emergency clause added before session ends). It states that you have to have either lived in OK for two years, or for five consecutive years of the previous 25 years.
@JessBot5000@ngaio420@omgwtfpaul@okgazette@MagazineExtract There is a $2,500 business application to the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority. If all requirements are met, a license is issued. There's also about an $850 license for the state health department if you want to carry edibles. BUT ...
@omgwtfpaul@ngaio420@okgazette@MagazineExtract That being said, I've been a cannabis consumer for 20 years and have had some superb herb along the way, just never a steady supply to quality genetics until recently. It's a new day for us in the middle of the country.
@TeamBarBeQueMan @ngaio420@okgazette@MagazineExtract Oh, you mean on the dormant account that I only launched today? I mean, if you're judging clout by number of followers, then certainly not. Good thing that's not the only thing on my resume.
