@mrs_richo Nope, still playing 😀

My last match as 1st Team and Club, Captain of Marton Furness Hockey Club. Made even better as it was umpired by my Dad and my son playing the final 5 minutes, in our annual memorial game.

15 years (longest in club’s history), loved every second.

Children seeing themselves in careers is a huge part of our school. Thank you to all the people who volunteered their time to come and talk to our Year 6 children.

[Peter Barron @BarronMedia]

We had a fantastic time at @CorporationRoad Community Primary School, helping to spark excitement about future careers.

But the real star of the show may have been a four-legged crime fighter from @DurhamPolice... 🐾

Went to tuck my son in to bed and he’d written to his ‘magic’ elves. Sad week, but very fortunate to be surrounded by love and support at home and work. #FatherAndSon #kindness

A powerful message featuring some of our children. 💙

Just over a week until some of our staff, from school, are doing a charity walk to support the set up of a community grocery store in the church opposite our school. It will be a huge boost to the community, so any donations will be greatly appreciated. https://t.co/fXWeXiQZY7

[Mark Dipple @mdipple1987]

Thank you to @NorthgateVHire for making a £250 donation to our sponsored walk! Made my day. If anyone else wants to give, here is the link https://t.co/fXWeXiQZY7

Staff at our school are doing a sponsored walk (approx 13.6 miles) on 15th Aug, to support the church opposite our school to start a community grocery. This would be amazing for our local area so please give, if you can. https://t.co/fXWeXiQZY7

Looking forward to @EnglandHockey awards night. Proud that our club has been nominated for ‘sustainable club of the year’ in recognition for our Eco-Shop which allows players to buy kit at a massively reduced cost, ensuring money is no barrier to participation. #sportforall
