Ayush Malik, who converted to Islam and married Chandni Qureshi, was released after being allegedly kept in custody following his conversion, according to his lawyer and the Association for Protection of Civil Rights (APCR). Before the Allahabad High Court, Malik said he had embraced Islam of his own free will and wanted to live with his wife. The court directed Shamli Police not to interfere with the couple’s decision. The development came after the court had earlier ordered authorities and Malik’s father to produce him before the court, calling the allegations of illegal detention and possible involvement of state authorities “serious in nature.” The court had also observed that the documents prima facie indicated that Malik had voluntarily converted to Islam and married Chandni against his father’s wishes.

🚨Friends, Mr. Manan Kumar Mishra’s Bar Council of India spent 14 CRORES on meetings and conferences in just one year.

Today, he had to withdraw a portion of his outrageous order on NALSAR students within 1 hour. So where and how is this 14 crores being spent?

12 crores was also spent on travel and accommodation.

But what has been the result? If Mr. Mishra is capable of issuing such a draconian order against young students, then what welfare has he been doing for young lawyers and law schools? He’s been in the position since 2012 and will be till 2030.

करीब 14 साल बाद रहमान को ओडिशा की एक अदालत ने बरी किया. कोर्ट ने कहा कि रहमान के किसी आतंकवादी संगठन से संबंध होने का कोई सबूत नहीं है. यह भी साबित नहीं हो पाया कि उन्होंने 'आतंकवाद' फैलाने के लिए कहीं से फंड जुटाया है.
