Probably my biggest complaint about umpires is when they are lazy and disinterested. This dude may not be perfect but he gets a lot of grace with that hustle.
Hey @espn , NBC used to give us the Draft Lottery during halftime of a playoff game. And it worked. We don’t need a 4 man panel and to have all the prospects and families there, that’s the draft, not the lottery. Get on with the reveal!
Stan Van Gundy is proving the value of the “mute” button on every remote control in America tonight. What an absolute disaster he is as an “analyst”. Also, the Hornets’ performance could not be more disappointing
To see the faces you see in this video really makes those of us struggling with the state of college sports currently feel nostalgic. This was peak college basketball.
I have enjoyed Final Four weekend my entire life. Never once did I ever say or even think, you know what would make this better? In Arena “Entertainment” with some dudes dancing around dribbling. I thought the broadcast couldn’t get any worse after the “Naismith” segment. It did.
Please help Jake and his Northwest Cabarrus High School baseball teammates if you’re so inclined. Any and all support is greatly appreciated.

My comment is in no way saying the game was poorly officiated or one sided - more of a historical musing - has Duke ever played a basketball game in which the opposing team was only whistled for one foul in the entire 2nd half before tonight?
Bill Belichick, the 8-time Super Bowl-winning HC, is not a first-ballot Hall of Famer, per @SethWickersham and @DVNJr. Belichick fell short of the 40 out of 50 votes needed for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

They weren’t wrong, but the @GetUpESPN panel talking about how inappropriate the Bills owner’s comments on Keon Coleman were while rolling clips of Keon dropping balls and running bad routes was objectively funny.
Is being incredibly smug and arrogant the top requirement for being an on air NFL Rules Analyst? Or is it behind always agreeing with the on field call. Which is more important because it’s hard to tell.
All I will say after watching the ESPN+ broadcast with the two ECU fans calling the game is that I am forever grateful that Charlotte has Bobby Rosinski and Jobey Thomas doing a professional job on each of their broadcasts.
@alexpodlogar And let’s ask Gene….Gene - yeah, Jim , as always. I agree with what the official on the field called there. Smack Tony for even acknowledging the potential of a simultaneous catch for me please.
Right call or not, here’s what I don’t understand. On a normal week will put a meaningless foot in or out call under review for 5+ minutes in a 2nd QTR, but a close call of simultaneous catch vs. INT in OT doesn’t even warrant a review? At least act like the game has integrity.
NFL Rules Analyst are the worst addition to football since the apparent mandate for all PA announcers to growl “It’s 3rrrrrrd Down” when their defense is on the field down 40 in the 4th quarter.
There are three officials heartbroken at the end of that Charlotte/Rice basketball game. Wasn’t for a lack of their effort though. They should all be arrested for attempted robbery.
