Seems to me that a logical tweak to the pitch clock rule should be that a hitters first “violation” should count as his timeout if he hasn’t already used it.

#Padres season ends but man, heck of a postseason run. Was incredible to see San Diego come alive in October. Tough for players & fans to see it end but so much to build on for team & organization, and they’ll be hungry to have this feeling again. Players always want it back.
