Edna is possibly one of the most well know people to die on that day apart from the man in the 'Falling Man' picture. Edna was trapped in the North tower and made her way to the open gash were she could look out.

Many photographs and videos show her waving most likely to try and get the attention of one of the many nearby news helicopters so they could stop and pick her up but as we know she would die on that day along with thousands of others.
