Avalanche volume spiked 24x as FIFA's World Cup ticketing went live

FIFA's World Cup ticket rush just lit up Avalanche (avalanche-2:native). In the days before kickoff, Right-to-Ticket redemptions on FIFA's Avalanche-based Collect platform drove more than 60,000 transactions, with on-chain volume up as much as 24x and active addresses roughly 10x, per @avax's growth lead.

And the tournament hasn't even started. The #FIFAWorldCup opens June 11, with 3.5 million-plus stadium attendees expected.

An interesting trend is emerging in the @Bitwise #Avalanche ETF.

🔺AVAX held in the fund on May 31: 2,505,419
🔺AVAX held in the fund on June 7: 2,533,875

✅That’s an increase of roughly 28,500 AVAX in just one week.

More importantly, there has been no meaningful selling during this market downturn. Bitwise investors appear to be accumulating rather than reducing their positions.

These purchases during a price pullback suggest that confidence in Avalanche’s long-term story remains strong.

Like everyone else, my portfolio is 80-90% down.

We need ETF purchases like this to help us store our money. I don't see any other way out.
