@jsnshep we've been watching & listening to the women's basketball games all yr on BYUTV & all year Yussuf has been known as Yussuf by every announcer. We had no idea who you were talking about when u said Bola. That may be what she likes but very confusing. Keep up your energy
@sportsiren@CanesFootball Total class act? Just for shaking hands with an opponent? Looks like you jumped the gun on that comment. How about punching an opponent? Try to be objective @sportssiren
@GoBEARCATS Apologies are nice and everything but why aren't you and your fellow Athletic Directors smart enough to be proactive in policing this to prevent it. It happened at Colorado this year. It happened at UofA. USC, Etc. Enough is enough. DO Something! So disappointed !
Shame on the #Big12 leadership for not showing a little backbone and not disciplining @uofcincy for the explitive chants of "F___ the Mormons" during last Saturdays gm vs BYU. Not doing anything means that is OK. It's not okay. And shame on @uofcincy for not policing ur students.
@CoCoVandey@CincyTennis Very impressed with your broadcasting. I was a sportscaster/sports reporter here in Boston for 30 years so I understand it and you "get it". Don't change. Best of luck in the future but you don't really need it. Congrats now on becoming the next "female voice of tennis".
@GlobeChadFinn Excellent article. Perfect title. Well written and very accurate. I will miss both Holiday & Porzingis for different reasons. I've loved Holiday since his days at UCLA (of course he's a Walton all-star). He's the quintessential Celtic.
Well done Chad.
@franfraschilla I'm a BYU fan but u were right w/ your analysis of BYU getting punked by not being tough enough vs a very good Houston tm. Let me apoligize for all of my BYU brethren who can't take a little criticism. This should make BYU a better tm & they were better in 2nd 1/2
A sad day. I idolized him at UCLA while I was going to HS in Southern California. 14 years later in Boston I got to know him when he played for the Celtics. I MC'd a Harvard basketball banquet where Bill sat next to me as the featured speaker. Always upbeat, he 'll be missed!
Cmon @FitbitSupport why do you make it so difficult to get help. I'm just trying to switch selsius to farenheit on my sense but when I press settings on weather I get a blank page, which I guess is appropriate.
@jaromjordan You did a very nice job calling last nights unforgettable BYU win. And so much better than the other guy who has been doing the other games (and talks way too much) but we'll keep that between us 😊
Congratulations..
@boston25gene Gene, Mike Dowling here. I have a question for you. What's the best way to get a hold of you?
You can direct message me on Twitter mdowling5 or instagram or email
Very sad news.
I just saw him at a Red Sox foundation golf tournament 6 weeks ago and he was his usual friendly self MCing the awards dinner afterwards. He leaves a tremendous legacy as much or more so off the field as on.
He'll be missed by all of #RedSox Nation
Our hearts are broken with the loss of Tim Wakefield.
Wake embodied true goodness; a devoted husband, father, and teammate, beloved broadcaster, and the ultimate community leader. He gave so much to the game and all of Red Sox Nation.
Our deepest love and thoughts are with Stacy, Trevor, Brianna, and the Wakefield family.
