The news of a man being lynched to death by a mob in South 24 Paraganas, West Bengal is deeply shocking.

I have written to the Union HM Sh. Amit Shah and WB CM Sh. Suvendu Adhikari seeking their intervention to ensure that no matter the circumstances, the law & order situation should not deteriorate in such a manner than mobs take law into their own hands.

A impartial inquiry must be conducted to ensure speedy justice in this deeply sensitive matter.

I wanna say this loud and clear. The bengal Congres’s ecosystem on @X does not owe any explanation or requires any certificate of their allegiance from anyone who hasn’t faced what they have faced from TMC especially in the last 5 years, let alone all the other stuff which went down in the 10 years before. They have the right to their glee as well as continue their attacks on the TMC. If you haven’t faced the circumstances and experiences they have faced, then they also have no requirement to meet your expectations and standards of political dialogue. Of course you have the right to find fault lines and criticise them as per your political experience, but it will have no affect on them. In the upcoming elections, any kind of bonhomie or relationship with the Tmc will be detrimental to the party, lead to the BJP increasing its stranglehold on the electorate of Bengal. We can align with the left, but definitely not with the Tmc, as per my political understanding and knowledge of the state along with the experience of working in the field for the last 11 years. You can keep crying for fascist like Garga and more, but these people are directly responsible for the attack on poor migrant Bengali speaking individuals in other states of India. They attacked poor defenceless non Bengalis in Bengal leading to this standstill. Anyways, the upcoming days will be interesting in terms of where the politics in Bengal is heading. I am a firm believer that we will consolidate ourselves once the dust settles of the election outcome. Better days are ahead. To all my beloved friends and colleagues of the congress party of Bengal, stay strong, stay united, block the noise and focus on the objectives. We don’t have any liability to please anyone except work to increase the strength of the party. The biggest casualty of this objective will be the Tmc. We are reclaiming our 21st of July Shahid Divas, in 2026. Jai Hind, Bande Mataram 🙌🙏
