There are now at least two way-too-long CFB pregame shows trying in vain to work around this unchangeable reality:

The 75 Most Corrupt Things Trump Did in 2026. So far. The scams, schemes and grifts have been endless, as the Trump Family seems to spend most of their time and energy finding new ways to profit off the presidency. Here is my Top 75. https://t.co/WMXj13XLgy
A quote—"small potatoes"—that Republicans would absolutely hang over the head of a Dem president if he uttered it. Underscores the disparity in the messaging machines between the two parties.
If only there had been ppl online telling you Trump wasn't intellectually, morally or emotionally fit for the job and would irreparably damage our institutions, our alliances, and our financial credibility.
He’s talking about the 25th anniversary of the largest terrorist attack in American history as a laugh line to smear the former President. What a pathetic worm of a man.

VP Vance, briefing the press, falsely says "we've seen $19 trillion of new investment come into the country," echoing a Trump figure that has no basis in reality.
(Vance also says inflation hit about 9.5% under BIden, though the peak was 9.1%; that this was the highest in 60 years or 48 years, though it was 40 years; and that the Trump administration achieved no tax on Social Security, though many seniors are still paying tax on Social Security even with the administration's additional, temporary deduction.)
One of President Trump's ever-growing imaginary numbers grew again yesterday: he claimed new data had just come in and "now it's over $20 trillion" being invested in the US, not the "$19.2 trillion" he'd been saying.
I asked the White House what the basis for the $20 trillion number is given that the White House's own (wildly inflated) website still claims it's "$11 trillion" in "major investment announcements" this term.
Spokesman Kush Desai responded, "President Trump is right: business leaders from across the world and across industries are lining up to invest in the United States thanks to the Trump administration’s pro-growth agenda."
Desai provided no evidence whatsoever for the president's figure.
