The Maryland Senior Olympics, created in 1980, is a non-profit sports competition for active residents aged 50 and above. Our motto: To Participate Is to Win!

Registration is open for our 2024 season, which runs May 1 through Oct. 13 at venues over six counties. Visit our website for the sports, dates, venues, and details. You can also qualify for the 2025 National Senior Games in Des Moines. “To Participate Is to Win!”

We are deeply saddened by the passing of MSO Hall of Famer Marcus Battle of Silver Spring. A long-time track and field coach and participant, Marcus was an MSO and National Games record-setting gold medalist in the triple jump. Our sympathies to his wife Tracey and their family.
