A man need to prioritize 5 things in his life;
1. Making money.
2. Hitting the gym.
3. Chasing his purpose.
4. Building a loving family.
5. Fixing his relationship with God.
It's the only way out of depression.
The court was satisfied that Mr D’s claim was entirely without merit in law and in fact, and was dismissed with costs.
Mr D was represented by Counsel in these proceedings.
Some guy at the gym every morning 6am.
He takes the 45lb plates, all of them.
He loads one bar and he does one rep and sits for 20 minutes.
Then unloads and he leaves, he does this everyday.
We hated him, and nicknamed him the plate dragon.
People started coming in at 5:45 to beat him. He'd just wait smiling and he would take them at 6.
One rep, sit then leaves.
I finally asked him Bro what are you doing?
He says, "Physical therapy."
Shows me his arm and he has a nasty scar. Shoulder rebuilt.
"Doctor said one rep at full weight daily or the muscle dies."
"Sitting is because I'II pass out if I stand."
Next day I helped him load the bar.
Next week three of us would help him.
Now 6am is "help Dave not die" club.
He brings protein muffins.
We don't call him plate dragon anymore.
We judge routines without knowing the reason behind them. Respect changed that whole gym.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has in terms of Section 175(1) appointed Advocate Tembeka Ngcukaitobi SC as an Acting Justice of the Constitutional Court from 01 June 2026 to 30 November 2026.
Well deserved congratulations to the SC!
HOW TO EARN RESPECT:
1. Do not call anyone more than twice.
2. Do not be more friendly than necessary with anyone.
3. Do not share your personal goals with people who don't support you.
4. Talk less observe more.
5. Do not let anyone know your next move.
6. Build multiple income streams to secure your independence.
7. If it's not necessary to speak stay silent.
8. Do only what aligns with your principles.
9. If someone has added value to your life never forget to show gratitude.
10. Never argue to prove your worth let your results speak for you.
To a man, DEPRESSION is often just:
- No gym
- No time out
- No enough sleep
- Bad diet
- Too much screentime
- Zero purpose
- Toxic bonds
- No time with family
Do this;
- Wake up by 5-6am
- Hit a 50-minute walk
- Sleep for 7-8 hours
- Eat clean (A lot of proteins, vitamins)
- Stop aimless scrolling
- Commit to a project that'll keep your engaged.
- Have an uplifting circle of friends
- Spend time with family
After 38 years of age, I’ve finally come to realize that, as a man, never stay indoors all day. It's the best cure to depression. Go out, make friends, and create new connections. A man's job is to face the world, take risks, and embrace difficulties.
PERIOD!!!
Misappropriation of funds: a thread 🧵
Complaint is made to the Legal Practice Council. In the complaint, the complainant stated that he deposited R223 739.25 into an advocate’s (Ms Engelbrecht) bank account on 11 September 2018, after requesting her help with a property the complainant was in the process of purchasing.
“A legal practitioner who accepts money she is not authorized to accept, misappropriates it, and misleads the body responsible for her statutory discipline is, in my view, not fit and proper to practice as a legal professional. The respondent's conduct clearly conflicts with the standards expected of legal professionals.“
Prominent lawyer loses right to practice over theft claims
Gauteng-based attorney Nonhle “NN” Nkomonde has been struck off the roll of attorneys following allegations that she misappropriated funds from deceased clients’ estates.
The Pretoria High Court confirmed the Legal Practice Council’s (LPC) decision, marking a dramatic fall for the once-prominent lawyer.
Investigations revealed that Nkomonde allegedly transferred over R2 million from the estate of the late Dr David Frank Lubenga into her personal account.
She is accused of using these funds to purchase eight properties in Soweto and Orange Farm in 2023.
In another case, she reportedly transferred ownership of a 61-year-old client’s house in Orlando East, Soweto, to her law firm without consent, selling it for R300,000.
The LPC highlighted that Nkomonde operated without a Fidelity Fund Certificate, leaving clients unable to claim compensation for lost funds. Authorities described her conduct as “unethical and criminal,” and she now faces a permanent ban from practicing law.
Criminal investigations into potential fraud, money laundering, and identity theft are ongoing.
The case has raised serious concerns about ethical standards in South Africa’s legal profession and underscores the importance of oversight and accountability.

Nobody claps for discipline.
Nobody cheers for consistency.
But one day, everyone will notice.
Show up every day to fix your life. Do it alone. Do it broke. Do it tired. Do it scared. Just do it.
