If your gripe is that CBE has way more moving population and projected passenger footfall than #Madurai so it should be sent separately, then it's valid.

TN should stop asking for a metro in CBE. That town doesn’t deserve anything. But Madurai deserves every possible infra investment. TN govt should be prepared to stare down the centre on Madurai metro. With highest floating pop, not much flyovers (as in CBE), Mdu best for Metro!
