Solution: Hedge some of that risk by getting some treasury bond ETFs, TIPs, and other less risky securities that have lower/more guaranteed returns than individual stocks.

Special-purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) are kinda like early seed VC firms. You invest in someone’s idea and potential instead of actual financial performance, so they are very risky. But with higher risk comes higher rewards.
