Please do not call these NHL teams super teams. The guys teaming up do not want the pressure of living up to that name. They want to be paid big league money while getting beer league attention with house league responsibility
@Rich_Cooper The income tax figures are wrong. At $220k income, the average tax rate is 33.47%. The marginal tax rate isn’t even as high as you listed. The highest tax you pay on that is 48.26% and it’s only on the top portion.
Why are so many of these tweets coming from people in Pittsburgh? It’s legit weird. Bro, the vast majority of us love our captain and support him celebrating Olympic gold. Get a grip. #LeafsForever
Toronto fans and media arguing Auston Matthews should be reserved about winning an f’ing gold medal because he plays in Canada are being incredibly unreasonable and unfair to him. Matthews was part of an historic win and moment and he has every right to enjoy it. He’s an American and that can’t be changed. He may never have a moment like this again. It’s not like he’s getting a Cup win with the Maple Leafs. Past Canadian gold medalists playing for US based NHL teams weren’t told to be reserved about their achievement.
@RiggsBarstool This is the best analogy I’ve heard. Don’t give me this “they had 60 mins to do it 5v5” nonsense. It goes both ways… I said the exact same thing after Canada beat Czechia in the quarters. 3v3 in the medal round is brutal.
@RiggsBarstool Dust reasoning. You play 5 on 5 until you have a winner. Just like in the NHL playoffs. If 3on3 isn’t good enough for game 3 of the first round of the playoffs, it’s definitely not good enough for a gold medal game.
@SamAMcKee Definitely felt elation! Was so happy for him. AND I'm not interested in hearing Kyper sing his praises when he was a ghost for 60 mins 5 on 5, only to score 3 on 3. That's where his game is able to shine! But it's not playoff-style hockey.
