🔺 Iran’s New Leader Orders Judiciary to Pursue US-Israeli War Crimes Cases

Iran’s new Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has directed the country’s judiciary to pursue legal accountability for war crimes committed against Iran during the US-Israeli wars, in domestic and international courts.

🔹In a written message marking Judiciary Week and the anniversary of the 1981 assassination of Ayatollah Mohammad Beheshti, Khamenei said the deaths and damage from the two wars of aggression “waged by the US and Israel in June 2025 and February 2026” form the basis for “hundreds or even thousands of significant legal cases.”

🔹He cited the killing of children, war crimes in the southern cities of Minab and Lamerd, strikes on medical and public-service facilities, and victims “from newborn infants to the elderly.” He argued that admissions and “shameless boasting” by American and Israeli leaders about the attacks amount to confessions of guilt.

🔹He also told the judiciary that those “who hold some power” must not dare trespass on others’ rights in the Iranian system, and that favoritism and connections—having “an acquaintance” inside the system—must count for nothing. He described accessible justice as a refuge for “every oppressed person.”

How much longer are folks going to fall for this? You cannot win socialism inside of a capitalist party. If you truly oppose capitalism and want to build a better world you first have to detach yourself from the Democratic party that exists to serve capital and betray workers. Until that happens you are just rehabilitating the capitalist and imperialist system that you claim to be against.
