Isaac Newton died a virgin at 84 years old. he never had a sexual relationship with any person in his entire life. the man who discovered gravity, invented calculus, and defined the laws that govern the physical universe practiced complete retention for 84 years
his colleagues at Cambridge described him as having an almost inhuman ability to focus. he would enter his study and not emerge for days. meals would be left at his door untouched. when he finally came out he would have filled hundreds of pages with calculations that advanced human knowledge by decades
the Principia Mathematica, widely considered the most important scientific work ever written, was produced during a period where Newton isolated himself completely. no social life. no relationships. no distractions of any kind. just pure channeled energy directed at understanding how the universe works
what nobody mentions in physics class is that Newton explicitly believed sexual release diminished mental capacity. he wasn't celibate by accident or because he couldn't find a partner. he was a professor at Cambridge surrounded by social opportunity. he chose retention deliberately because he believed it was the source of his cognitive power
the mind that decoded the laws of the physical universe and invented the mathematical language to describe them operated for 84 years without a single release. that's not a footnote in his biography. that might be the explanation for everything he achieved
the father of modern physics ran an 84-year retention streak and nobody talks about it because the implication would force the scientific community to take the practice seriously
Strong suggestion:
Do watch Nadal's documentary on Netflix. Suffering is necessary in order to achieve big things in life. Nothing comes easily.
Human brain is wired to seek comfort, but the real development happens in solitude and ability to put in the reps again & again.
Follow the DCP framework to achieve your goals
Discipline
Consistency
Patience
Somewhere in your 20s or 30s you'll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative loop, heal from what broke you, live in your own space, reconnect with your discipline, and learn to love yourself again. It's very important that you see that journey through.

This is free advice from an expensive psychologist. If you’re an anxious person, do everything for fun. Go to a job interview for fun. Submit documents for fun. Start a blog for fun. Anxiety feeds on importance. Don’t make everything a matter of life and death.
A man named Adnan Khurram from Bihar had no medical degree.
But he dreamed of becoming a doctor.
So instead of studying for years, he bought:
• A white coat • A stethoscope • A fake AIIMS ID card
And started living as a fake doctor at AIIMS Delhi.
For 5 months he:
• Ate in doctors canteens • Joined department parties • Entered doctors WhatsApp groups • Participated in medical union strikes • Posted stories like: “Feeling exhausted after saving lives.”
But real doctors work 18–20 hour shifts.
Meanwhile this guy had unlimited free time, attended every department event, and was always overactive.
Doctors became suspicious: “How is this man everywhere?”
Then during a hospital marathon, real doctors surrounded him and asked basic medical questions.
He failed.
They checked his ID. His name didn’t exist in records.
Police arrived. Fake doctor arrested 🤐
@nervemed Cardiac often starts with pedal edema, renal often starts with facial puffiness then pedal edema, hepatic often starts with ascites then pedal edema.. timing of edema can give a clue also, cardiac is often worse as d day progresses, as against renal early morning facial puffiness
