This day last year I sat in my car looking up at my Mams Nursing home room window , curtains closed as she died alone , this should not have happened to those we love , I adored her please god she sensed I was close by . RIP beautiful lady. Covid , so many heartbroken 🌷

@SimonHarrisTD @LeoVaradkar My mums worse fear heading into Nursing Home was loneliness , now heading >2wks in isolation awaiting test results . No family to visit . Awful mistake made not treating tests same as hospitals 🙏God help her and all in care homes .

@SimonHarrisTD Waiting 10 days now for our Mams tests results to come back to Nursing Home. Agony . thinking of her alone and what cud come if no result . How did this happen? You got so much right but not nursing homes testing unfortunately for our most vulnerable .
