Interesting moments over the past couple days. OKD v traditional stance. Thought i would put these side by side.
Both had crucial/go ahead runs on 3rd in the last. Contreras & Murphy. The standard LHH=RKD &RHH =LKD,but most critical run of the game on 3rd,should Murphy gone RKD?

With the RHP & called breaking ball,Murphy went LKD & missed one he perhaps should of got. Contreras blocked & kept runner at 3rd. Both athletes can block laterally well from OKD, so seemed to me the decision in setup rather than the skill.

12 year olds, showing us that although not every swing may look identical, the sequencing is the exact same as the the pros in order to hit the ball hard and far. Start teaching the right movements early!!!!
