What a great day with @ghroehrig and visiting professors from Indonesia. The STEM faculty were observing the wonderful learning happening in @Owatonna761. Thank you @OwatonnaLincoln, @WeRWashington@StemMcKinley teachers for sharing your time and talents! #owatonnaproud
Amazing what can be accomplished a few committed people working collaboratively! Thanks @heinzOMS,@MrJensen6, and MS. Runner and the Halverson boys for building the split rail fence @Owatonna_MS for all your hard work making OMS a great place to learn #owatonnaproud.
Ah, the joy of teaching science and STEM when @OwatonnaLincoln students can see the magic of how the world works and get to explore for themselves the excitement of what happens with a bottle of “milky” water and a flashlight! #owatonnaproud
@MPRweather I saw this near Roseville last night and as I was explaining to my family about how those clouds may have rotational winds and hold strong thunderstorms the column erupted in a lightning storm. It was scary and spectacular at the same time!
35th faculty photo finished and ready for this year! Ready to rock STEM with Dr M again #owatonnaproud look for new videos and classroom ideas. https://t.co/BUzGiAzd3T
@OwatonnaLincoln students and faculty were outstanding stewards of their new prairie rain garden. K-5 classes were out with me planting native plants, shrubs and spreading pollinator seeds these last four days of school. It’ll be exciting to watch the prairie grow!#owatonnaproud.
Wow @Owatonna_MS students are sharing ESTEM presentations with middle school students from Genesis STEM School-Cairo on how to improve our communities in Owatonna and Egypt! Outstanding collaboration from across the world! #owatonnaproud.
@RaeRear As teachers we’ve been through multiple live trainings and workshops on how to protect ourselves, protect our students and counter attack perpetrators. I’m sure the next level of training would be in person, realistic counter attacking. This is not what our children need!
What could be more joyful than planting native wildflowers and prairie grasses on a beautiful spring afternoon with students from @OwatonnaLincoln ?! In one afternoon Kindergarten through 3rd grade students planted over 300 native plants into a new prairie rain garden.
So much fun having @StemMcKinley families in the building today for our student showcase. Ss worked so hard and have so much to be proud of #mckinleystrong
Amazing ideas coming from our 8th grade ESTEM Scots team @Owatonna_MS with team engineering designs on how to improve a local state park recreation, water quality, and reintroduction of wild rice. Thank you to the U of M STEM Ed Center for their support with this project!
@LoveTheLooch I’m gonna miss jamming with your show every day. I was listening the day you and Bob said goodbye, that was a tear jerker and I’m glad I was in my car. @TheCurrent or Rock the Garden won’t be the same without you!
