Neovim artfully avoided the "rewrite it in rust" catfish. We were waiting for Zig (harmonious instead of hostile with C/legacy):

To join the zig mafia, use nvim in ghostty developing a bun app.
Been doing a lot of #LLM experiments recently, and I ended up building extensions for my go-to tools: #emacs and the browser. Now they work exactly how I want them to. ๐ท If you're curious, check them out at https://t.co/XbuAqpVdPD and https://t.co/1WnVQg8IV8!
@lambda_x_y You should be able to use direnv with nix on non NixOS systems as well. As for setting up a login shell, I would suggest looking into using home-manager instead of using a nix-profile.
@lambda_x_y On servers, I primarily use NixOS. For personal devices, my primary laptop is still running Ubuntu with nix installed as a package manager. Home manager helps a lot. We can definitely connect! :D
@vishal_biyani @lambda_x_y Nix has been a game changer for me. Over time nix has been taking over more and more of how I manage tools/services on my laptop, servers and per project configurations.
Super excited to share Corso's launch on @ProductHunt today

We'd love you to check out the launch and give us feedback on our free and open-source backup tool for Microsoft Office 365 data
Seriously, Nix and direnv is the closest thing to magic we have in the industry when it comes to dev environments. Once you've experienced this, there is no turning back.
