An Airbus A350 being tested from +45°C to −40°C inside the McKinley Climatic Laboratory.
The aircraft was exposed to extreme temperatures and humidity while engineers checked its systems and cabin installations.
The engines were also operated during the tests, with the aircraft securely restrained.
Air conditioning, galleys, water and waste systems, and other aircraft systems were checked to verify they could operate after prolonged hot and cold exposure.
The controlled environment allows engineers to test conditions that would be difficult to reproduce consistently in normal flight testing.
The A350 spent about 2.5 weeks undergoing climatic testing.
A rather unique stress-relief experience in Thailand! 👊
Artists here will create you a lifelike clay sculpture of anyone you dislike to smack, slap & punch.

@ZenithBank your customer service is absolutely unacceptable.
I’ve spent over 10 minutes waiting on your call line, only for the call to disconnect when it finally gets to my turn.
Your live chat is no better, 10–15 minutes between responses.
This is outright unacceptable.
✈️ THIS IS WHERE AIRCRAFT STRENGTH GETS RESTORED.
Behind every heavy maintenance check, there’s a team making sure the aircraft’s structure is ready for thousands of more flight hours.
🔧 Sheet metal repair isn’t just about fixing damaged panels , it’s about restoring structural integrity, aerodynamics, and safety.
Every dent, crack, or damaged section is carefully assessed. Every repair follows approved procedures. Every detail matters.
Because at 35,000 feet, “good enough” isn’t good enough.
👨🔧 What aircraft maintenance task do you think requires the most precision?
With xtreme_aviation
Opened a Trent 1000 on a 787 .
Cowls off and it stops looking like an engine and starts looking like a factory that learned how to fly. Three shafts, a huge fan, and more systems packed in than most people think exist on a whole aircraft.
This is why so few companies on the planet can actually build these things.
